Local UTC Widget

Local-UTC-Widget is a lightweight Android home-screen application that provides synchronized local and UTC time displays in a 24-hour format. It offers users granular control over their display, allowing for the toggling of date information, UTC offsets, time zone labels, and various layout configurations to suit different home-screen aesthetics.

Built entirely in Kotlin without third-party dependencies, the project employs a unique architectural approach to handle font rendering in home-screen widgets. Since standard Android RemoteViews do not support custom typefaces at runtime, the application utilizes a Python-based script to pre-generate layout files for each font and template combination. This ensures performance efficiency while providing a wide selection of bundled typography options for users who require precise time tracking across multiple zones.
